Once upon a time back in June of 2007, on my way to night school I had a car accident that totaled my car. I had to get a new car, Finally I had a car that was up to date and even in the new Millenium. I put in the best stereo I could afford and had always dreamed of having, with a CD player. Being the music lover that I am, I got out all my CD's to enjoy in my new car. Fortunately, one of them was one I made with 1980's hits. One of the tunes I had loved was "Something About You" by Level 42. I had just learned about You Tube, so I thought, gee I am going to see if that video is still around I used to see on MTV years back. Well, it was there, and so much other great music I could not believe that I didn't know any of it. Thus began my trek into listening and acquiring all the music I could possibly find by Level 42, such a talented and amazing group. One day, as we all go from one page to another, listening to other people's uploads, I came across a page with a song I didn't know, called Star Child. I started listening to it, and unfortunately, it had the ending of a prior Level 42 tune and the beginning of Star Child, but not the ending. I decided to write to the author of the page and suggested he take a look and possibly fix it. This person wrote back to me and that was the beginning of my whole life changing and his too. I found out his name was Dave. Dave wrote back to me that he would fix it right away. I think he called me a Cheeky Sod at that point, but of course I didn't know this at the time. ha ha I also had noticed on one of his upload comments, way at the bottom it said, "Any girls who like Level 42 can contact me". That piqued my interest, and thus began a correspondence and moved into something neither one of us could have possibly imagined. Two people who love music as well as Level 42, who found they had more in common then they could have ever imagined. We even made plans to go and see Level 42 on October 4th, 2008 in Manchester UK. This will be the opening night for their tour. The best part is that these two people could become the best of friends, they both loved the same kind of music, and that they could fall so in love with each other. So, here we are on You Tube, with our own page, all the music we love and we know how fortunate we are. Not everyone can find the right person. It was a good screw up on a song that made it happen. And, an observant woman to notice. xxx I think that when you aren't looking and you least expect it, something can happen to you that can change your life in the most wonderful way. Even when you thought love had passed you by, you are completely dumbstruck that someone can love you for who you are and become the love of your life. I wanted to say all of this so others can have hope, that it can happen to them too. Love you honey, always will. XXXXX
