Somewhere between the hills and dales of Derbyshire, and the broken down coal fields of Yorkshire, a band are playing in a brick-clad room of a Victorian house; the glass windows are shaking a bit and the neighbours will undoubtedly complain as soon as this racket ceases, but what do these people know about the heart felt tones emanating from this dark soon-to-be-converted-into-a-dining-room?room? Well, about the same amount as the lads playing the music do; reared on Mod, Post-Punk, Blues, Reggae, Indie, and Brit-pop, The Auxiliaries listen to it all. Brought together from the sheer thrill of taking Chesterfield to the F.A cup final, only to be knocked out by Barnet with three minutes remaining because of a spilt drink, a freak bus timetable and a dodgy PS2 controller.
