Books: My favorite book of all time is Les Miserrables by Victor Hugo...favorite poets are (Jalal al-Din) Rumi, Robert Frost, and william Blake...favorite artists are Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, and Andy Warhol. Arabian mosques are the most beautiful man-made architecture.

Movies: My Left Foot, Forest Gump, A Few good Men, Singing in the Rain, Disney animated films, 500 Nations, How the West Was Lost, Dances With Wolves, Dreamkeeper and many other Native American films. My favorite TV shows are Ellen Degenerous, Nova, Cosmos (Carl Sagan), Globe Trekker, Bill Moyers Journal, Religion and Ethics, Nature and Science, and Documentaries. I support and trust only Public Broadcasting System (PBS) and no other source for news and current events programming.

Music: My musical tastes are a wide range of soft rock, pop, Native American, alternative, grunge, ska, reggae, classical, folk, older Mowtown, some old country and some metal, some gospel and nasheeds, bluegrass, Eastern exotic, anything of Cat Stevens, most anything of the Beatles, Paul McCartney, k.d. lang, most 60's and 70's and 90's music. I'd just as soon skip the 80's except for Paul McCartney, Madonna, Dan Fogelberg, and Foreigner.

Hobbies: I enjoy watercolor and oil painting, playing around with Photoshop and other computer graphics programs. I design and sell precious and semi-precious stone, pearl, crystal, lampwork, sterling and gold jewelry. I read a variety of books, web blogs, and participate in web forums. I'm a Zelda and Final Fantasy video game addict.

I'm a wife, mother, environmentalist, democrat, peace and human rights advocate, vegetarian, lover of poetry, good books, and good songs that are not offensive to anyone. I love all animals and nature. Favorite songwriters are Cat Stevens, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Robbie Robertson, Leonard Cohen, U2, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Dolly Parton, John Fogerty (Creedence), Paul Simon, and Willie Nelson. I value honesty and integrity. Some who know me say I'm still on my spiritual journey. I find peace in Buddism and feel a strong link to Native American spirituality, but I also have a keen interest in the Sufi sect of Islam. I believe in an Almighty Creator of the universe. I am a creationalist - evolutionist and belong to no established religion of written Holy books. My prayers and, or, worship of the Almighty are secret and private. Geneticaly, I'm an American mix of European Anglo and Cherokee Indian. I identify with my Cherokee grandmother and my American Indian ancestors for their cultural, social, ethical and moral values. I am also a loyal American. I don't agree with our leaders, and I hate any and all wars, but I love my country which God blessed with breathtaking beauty and bounty. I despise greed and oppose giant corporations who show little regard for the poor and the environment such as those that blow the tops off the beautiful Appalacian Mountains, destroying forever God's work, to extract the cheap coal within. I admire people such as Jesus, Mohammed, Albert Einstein, Yusuf Islam, Russell Means, Chief Joseph of Nez Pierce, Sen. Barack Obama, Bob Dylan, Paul and Linda McCartney, George Harrison, Ellen DeGeneres, President Jimmy Carter, Robert Redford, Kevin Costner, Leonard Peltier, k.d. lang, Mahatma Gandhi, Sequoyah, the Dalai Lama, Carl Sagan, Lewis & Clark, Sacagawea, Martin Luther King Jr, Christopher Reeve, Bill and Melinda Gates, Al Gore, Mother Teresa, Aristotle, Rumi, John Trudell of the American Indian Movement (AIM), and the most brave Native Indian that ever lived, Crazy Horse of the Lakota tribe who was murdered, with a bayonet in the back, for his bravery. ________________________ CHEROKEE TRAVELER'S GREETING I will draw thorns from your feet.
