Books: Back to Eden Greater Health God's Way Anne of Green Gables (a big book, but well written)

Movies: I don't sit still long enough to watch new movies just out...but, I am still cool. :0)

Music: Bhangra, disco, Farsi pop, beledi...

Hobbies: I enjoy many different hobbies and I usually rotate them... sewing, scrap booking, genealogy, hand embroidery, antique collecting...and the list goes on and on!

I am truly humbled by your kindness! My name is Nina... Thank you for viewing my profile! I am married to an awesome guy. We've been married for a little over 13 years and we have two lovely little girls. You have most likely seen our girls on many videos. Michaela, the eldest is a sixth grader this year. That's a new step for her and a new step for me! She's enjoying school and is making new friends. I really wish the best for her pre-teen experience; it can be tough. Millicent is our first grader. She's a sweetheart who loves to dance; she refers to herself as a "girly girl". (Smiling) She only wants to wear jumpers and dresses (I'm not complaining) and if she had her way, she'd wear dress up clothes everyday. :0) She lucked out and got a "girly girl" teacher this year. Her teacher is one of those ladies who wears pretty dresses and cute shoes everyday and has cute hair too even on rainy days; she's dressed from head to toe! That's the first thing Millicent noticed. She said, "My teacher is like me! She's a girly girl!" But, she's a great teacher too. J I really enjoy being a Mom. I'm always trying to keep up with what is required of me to be the best for my children. I spend a lot of time working with them on their studies and coaching them along the way in their music and singing...in other words, I have them practice each at least 30 minutes a day, if not more. I want them to be the best at what they do and that will help the feel a sense of pride which will give them a healthy boost to their self-esteem. My goal is to raise girls with the ultimate respect for themselves and others; I want them to be bold enough to work hard on their goals and soft enough to have compassion. I don't want to focus on their looks too much because I feel that will ruin a humble spirit eventually. I see a lot of little girls who know they're pretty and flaunt their sexuality so much that it exposes them to situations they are not yet mature enough to deal with yet. That can lead down a path of self-destruction. We see it everyday and it's sad. A young girl has enough to worry about in the world; she doesn't need to be encouraged to grow up too fast. See, I love to chatter* How I met my husband... I was being hit on by a funny, yet goofball of a guy and I just looked back and grinned; trying not to laugh in this guy's face. When I did, there sat my future husband, studying for his Chemistry test. Wow! He didn't look too much of an animal; so, I sat beside him boldly. He and I locked eyes. From that day forward, we have been together, hand in hand. He told me then and now that on that day we met eyes, he knew he wanted to marry me from that very moment. Wow! (And I wasn't even wearing make-up, my hair was in pigtails (like today) and I was just wearing a t-shirt and denim skirt) See girls, guys do like natural girls! I always liked the smart guys; you know, the pencil protector toting guys with armloads of science and math books. (Seriously) I guess I liked the "nerdy guys", but hey; that's a good thing...Bill Gates may have been considered a nerd by some groups...(need I say more?) There are times in which I can reply to comments almost immediately; other times, I may be days before getting around to it. I love reading most comments and I reply to each and every one of them unless I cannot find words...that's rare. There have been a couple of times in which I have accidentally deleted comments or questions and I try to be careful not to be so manic with my hands. I can blame the surge of energy on my juicing regimen. I can barely sit still for hours after I juice...that's when I will likely go for a long walk or something.
