Books: My absolute favorite book is 'The Fountainhead' by Ayn Rand--I could not get enough! It's a fascinating book that has a little bit of everything in it: crime, romance, law, sex, art--it's great book. Check it out--it's worth a read and a heckofagood ending.
Movies: My absolute favorite movie of all time is the WWII film 'The Clock' (1945) with Judy Garland and Robert Walker. If you love old films with a touch of romance, I totally recommend this--it is an underrated classic! It is a total sap-film and one that will make you cry and laugh at the same time. An altogether 'feel good movie' that's perfect to snuggle up with someone you love and watch. My favorite television show is As Time Goes By with Dame Judi Dench and the 1970's show Are You Being Served?. Both are BBC comedy and will have you rolling on the floor with laughter! I have also recently discovered the 1960's show The Saint with Roger Moore--if you liked him in James Bond, you'll like him in this series.
Music: Judy Garland (far and above!), Michael Buble, Josh Groban, MGM Studio Orchestra, Kelly Clarkson, Jo Jo, Nelson Riddle and his Orchestra, the LSO--just about any genre, really; except hip hop, hard-core rap, or heavy metal.
Hobbies: I do art whenever I can--mostly portraits and animals. I typically use graphite and colored-pencils, though I sometimes experiment with paint. I also love graphic design--one of my passions is designing film posters and CD covers. I also am a writer, in the loosest sense of the world. Some of my poetry has been published and I've finished two novellas and several short stories. At the moment I'm working on two novels, with a third one in mind.
Pretty classic, above all. I love old movies and basically anything to do with the 30's, 40's, or horses. :) I might be considered old-fashioned, and I'm a hopeless romantic.Videos (22)

The shock from the sudden death of the spunky little chestnut pony struck in the hearts of everyone in the horse world. We were all looking forward to seeing Teddy compete in the summer Olympics. Small in body but big in heart. Rest in peace, Teddy.

'The Clock' (1945) is my all-time favorite film--if you're a fan of sweet, simple, romantic dramas, especially the old-fashioned kind, this is a movie you've GOTTA see! I was a little hesitant the first time I watched it, but by the second time, I was hooked. Love this movie to death! All...

Another find from the bonus disk from the "That's Entertainment" box set. This is a deleted number from the 1949 musical "In the Good Old Summertime", in which Judy Garland's character laments being stood up on a date. It's quite good (but then, Judy was rarely anything else), but I agree that...
