I would like to request to my muslim brothers and sisters to upload any naats, saiful malooq, qawali's, hamd's anything that you have on cassettes and on any VHS (video) tapes which is religous, instead of throwing them away so that we can keep the past information with us, so that it does not get lost. Some people might be trying to find the video or audio and if you have it and by you uploading it they can enjoy it again. Most of the audio i have uploaded is from my old cassettes, that is why the quality of some audio is not good, also the videos i have uploaded are from vhs tapes. The way i got my audio from my cassettes is by getting a cassette player which has a headphone's socket, then i got a wire which has a Plug in male-male 3.5mm stereo speaker extension cable into the headphone jack of the tape player and the other side into the microphone of the computer, then i got a software like audacity audio editor (its free) pressed play on cassette and record on audacity and it recorded. then download pictures/videos of madinah or anything you want (from Youtube) use windows movie maker (comes with xp) to merge audio with video/pictures To record my VHS (Video) tapes i got a Easycap device from ebay (its a USB device which connects to the video player) it costs about £10 and is easy to use (should come with software)
