Jun 29, 2008 - I'm having trouble finding Part Two. Part Three is up, but I can't find the one before it.

al147316 Says:

Jun 29, 2008 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6 (NKJV)

LoveReid Says:

LoveReid Says:

Jun 29, 2008 - Sorry I posted that three times. I was looking at the bottom (not at the top) and thought that it wasn't posting.

Drvik360 Says:

Jun 29, 2008 - Hang on Dr Zakir Naik should be there!!

LoveReid Says:

Jun 29, 2008 - Unfortunately, Dr. Naik won't debate anyone anymore. People have been trying for years to get him to come to the West for a major series of debates, but he just won't do it. This is why Christians have far more respect for Shabir Ally. He debates William Lane Craig, James White, and Jay Smith over and over again. Nearly all of Dr. Naik's debates are with people no one's ever heard of.

dilseislam Says:

Jun 29, 2008 - Well I Have To Disagree with you on that he debated William Campbell and Sri Sri Ravishanker both are well known and Ravishanker has the one of the worlds NGO in the world

LoveReid Says:

Jun 29, 2008 - William Campbell??? He's certainly known for his WRITTEN critique of Bucaille's scientific claims about the Qur'an, but Campbell isn't known as a debater at all. And that's my point. Naik goes around debating pastors and writers. But he almost never debates people who are actual debaters. Shabir does debate real debaters, and that's why Christians are more impressed with Shabir. By the way, does anyone know where Part Two is? The other two parts were posted almost a full day ago.

BonsaiSky Says:

Jun 29, 2008 - I believe they said it will be updated shortly. Peace.

Jul 2, 2008 - Question. If the Christians don't have a problem with the wars of Moses & the prophets (pbut all) being divinely inspired, why do they have a problem with the wars of Mohammed being divinely inspired?

LoveReid Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - Christians are interested in this issue for two reasons. First, we want to know what Islam teaches. Some Muslims tell us that Muhammad was completely peaceful. Other Muslims preach a far more violent prophet. So apart from the issue of whether Islam is true, we're interested in the future of the world given Muhammad's teachings. Second, we believe that Jesus commanded us to love everyone and not to retaliate. If Muhammad taught his followers to kill his enemies, then we have a problem here.

LoveReid Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - It doesn't look like the full version of Part Two is available. How about posting the version with part of Shabir's rebuttal missing? It's better than having no Part Two at all.

gbjew Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - That's not my question, my question is why can you accept the wars of Moses (pbuh) and not Mohammed (pbuh)? The wars were practically the same.

Nazam44 Says:

Jul 2, 2008 - Part 2 Has Been Uploaded

hpdawah Says:

Jul 4, 2008 - An interesting point that Shabbir Aly pointed out was that Jesus (according to Christians) is one and the same person as God. Hence all the atrocities, sanctioned by God in the Bible, are in fact sanctioned by the "prince of peace" i.e. Jesus. Therefore Jesus participated in these Biblical massacares before he reformed himself as a pacifist man-god in his 1st coming. E.g.Numbers 31:17 kill all male children and save virgins for yourselves...31:40 and save 32 virgins for God/Jesus! wonder why?

ngl711 Says:

Jul 5, 2008 - Muslims accept Jesus' teachings of love but you need to understand that Muhammad did not teach to kill your enemies unjustly but to kill in self defense or to kill against oppression. Killing in fact is a last resort peace is the first objective when facing an enemy.

facilisdescenus Says:

Jul 17, 2008 - I would personally say that the wars of Moses occurred in different times and were in self-defense against the other nations attacking.Mohammed's wars were violent conquests to spread his religion.I would say there is a bog difference.

AbuNoahSantana Says:

Jul 30, 2008 - I noticed that Jay Smith said that the violence of the magnitude of the time of Joshua was never again repeated after that, but in 1 Samuel 15:1-4, it says: 3Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. Is this not the same as the time of Joshua? Joshua was at the time of moses and Saul was at the time of David, AFTER Joshua!
