Jul 8, 2008 - That guy from "Vets For Freedom has had some serious coaching- Rule #1- NEVER answer the question put to you, ALWAYS respond with your TALKING POINTS. "Vets For Freedom" is a Republican front group managed by Republican-affiliated public relations, media, legal, and political consultants, including former White House spokesman Taylor Gross, to defeat candidates who advocate an end to the US occupation of Iraq. They are funded by the Republican Jewish Coalition. War profiteers all.

Jul 11, 2008 - I completely agree with getplaning's comment here. That is exactly what I thought as I watched this! I was also upset at both of their treatment of Jon. They refused to let him speak (because *gasp* it may go against what they wanted to hear). I sometimes forgot whether I was watching Chris Matthews or the SNL Parody of The McLaughlin Group with the VFF spokesman spinning like a gym stationary bike and Matthews screaming "you're not saying what I want to hear! You are wrong, both of you".
