Jul 4, 2008 - A lot like Republic Commandos.

Jul 4, 2008 - Very cool! Thanks for putting this up! I personally prefer the clone's armor in ROTS. It looked more like a stormtrooper but without the sort of clumsiness i thought stormtroopers had. Oh well...
kane1138 Says:
Jul 4, 2008 - This is great, but weren't the clones genetically modified to remove their sense of independence? Lama Su says in AOTC "We modified their genetic structure to make them less independent than the original host". If they have had their sense of independence removed it doesn't make sense that they would each have individual sense of style.

Jul 4, 2008 - thATS COOL
wertwar Says:
Jul 4, 2008 - i totally agree there is no point for them to be different the only clones that were modified to think differently would be the arc troopers but the kaminoians hated that so they never used them. except in the comics when the CIS attacks kamino. i would understand if Rex bleached his hair( but i dont really get it) but the others not so much. FYI captain Fordo of the arc troopers from the clone wars animated series was totally better than Rex.

Metaphysicist Says:
Jul 4, 2008 - This earlier in the time line they'll get to the Phase II[Storm Trooper]armor later.
TheOriginalLHM Says:
Jul 4, 2008 - No, it says "Less independant than the original host" - doesn't say that it was completely removed.
killerspaz4343 Says:
Jul 4, 2008 - I know, but I still prefer the Phase II armor. :D
kane1138 Says:
Jul 5, 2008 - Ok, but surely the whole point of doing so was to remove the possibility of any variations of independent choice. In other words, they have intelligence (unlike droids) but all act the same (like droids).
TheOriginalLHM Says:
Jul 5, 2008 - But they don't all act the same. They're human beings, not mindless drones. Not all of the Clones obeyed "Order 66" either, which is a fair indication that there are some 'Free Thinkers' among the Grand Army of the Republic. Remember, Lama Su did tell Obi-Wan that "Clones can think creatively" in AOTC If they do all act the same, then it makes you wonder why that Pilot was nicknamed "Oddball" in ROTS.
kane1138 Says:
Jul 5, 2008 - "Not all of the Clones obeyed "Order 66" either" WHat makes you say this? EU?
TheOriginalLHM Says:
Jul 5, 2008 - Yes, read "DARK LORD: The Rise of Darth Vader"
makkybubu Says:
Jul 6, 2008 - TheOriginalLHM i agree 110% with you!! I can't imagine Darman letting a clone kill Etain or him or any of Delta, Omega or the Nulls killing a Jedi (if you are reading republic commando series)or any loyal clone killing his own general/friend. Anyways... there had to be a twist in the story to end the clone wars! No matter which way it goes i still love it.
Metaphysicist Says:
Jul 6, 2008 - Eat it, Karen Travis!! The Jedi cared about there Clone Troopers and didn't just see and treat them like meat droids! The Jedi started giving the Clones names instead of just using there id numbers, even the ones that weren't truly independent like the ARC Troopers.
Darthslim108 Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - Some were more loyal than others because the ones in dark lord spared the jedi, but obi-wan and cody were really close and cody turned on obi-wan easily.
