Conrad Colman was a UKSA distrinction graded student on the Ocean Graduate course in 2007. At 2am this morning he sailed his newly purchased racing cat into Cowes Yacht Haven, having sailed it from Italy. He sailed single-handed from Gibraltar. He has many a tale to tell about his rather sharp learning curve and brutal introduction to single-handed sailing. Conrads aim is to complete in a mini-transat and then go on to race in the Jacques Vabre Transat. In the meantime he is living in Cowes, racing with the GBR Yacht Race Academy and working is the Solent as a Cruising Instructor.
