The Second Amendment survives by one vote, in a 5-4 Decision the Supreme Court strikes down a D.C. gun ban. If it wasn't for Bush's nominees, John Roberts and Samuel Alito, the ruling would have been different. Thank you again to all you people who voted for Bill Clinton, not suprisingly, Steven Breyer and Darth Vader Ginsberg voted against the second amendment today. This ruling would have been comletely opposite if John Kerry had won in 2004, being that he would have named 2 far left Supreme Court Justices. Thank the Bush Adm. if you are in favor of the 2nd Amendment

Jun 27, 2008 - Besides Ginsburg and Breyer, David Souter (appointed by 'papa' Bush) and John Paul Stevens (appointed by Gerald Ford) also need to be held accountable! I don't think Robert's and Alito's predecessors (Rehnquist and O'Connor respectively) would've been hostile to us, though. I wouldn't have felt comfortable if this had happened on former Chief Justice Warren Burger's watch. With Stevens being 88, I'm hoping he'll retire soon.

Jul 13, 2008 - in other news, gun homicides in the US hovers around 12,000 a year. Now, don't get me wrong I understand the importance of the right of citizens to be armed. But I'll be god damned if you need to be able to own handguns, that's total horseshit. If you need to be protected against a tyrannic government, hunting weapons and more than sufficient. Also, how many people do you know that have "defended their homes" with a handgun? Inability to conceal weapons = a lot less homicides. Discuss.

Aug 13, 2008 - Making gun ownership illegal will do nothing but worsen the situation since both the government and criminals will still have them. We need to be able to defend ourselves against both, and the fact that the government makes it difficult for you to carry a handgun on your person is what makes criminals so effective. This is how the government makes arguments for disarming the public, and then uses homicide statistics made by those criminals to condemn gun ownership.
