Jul 6, 2008 - The Libertarian Party is the 3rd biggest. The Constitution Party wishes they were big. That way they would have more leverage to represent the christian values they believe this country was founded on. They could pass laws in the states that created the theocracy they want to see. America is not a place for theocracy and even asserting the Constitution supports such governance is offensive to that grand document and all who support it.

Just recently, I discovered that the Libertarian Party will be on the MOST states ballots than any other 3rd party. So far, the Constitution party is on 22 state's ballots while the Libertarian party is on 31 state's ballots. The process is still ongoing for other states, but the Libertarian party is expected to be on more of them than any other 3rd party.(FACT)

Aug 5, 2008 - Barr has spoken out against the bailouts and made it clear on CNN that he believes the troubles we face are because of government intervention. He voted for the patriot act once sunset clauses were established. Congress, without Barr, removed them and reinstated the act. He has taken back his support for the war after seeing the mess it became. The overriding fact is I never trust a party that evokes a deity so readily in their platform. Libertarians do not need to do that, they have logic.

Aug 7, 2008 - barr thinks the frannie and freddie mess was caused by government,, and so the answer is more government involvement (at YOUR expense). great logic !! this whole "sunset clause" thing makes no sense at all. i guess it is oK to invade our privacy and deny our rights, as long as it is just temporary. again, wonderful logic. he speaks like a typical career politician, try to be on both sides of every issue.

The Patriot Act was going to get passed with or without him.He was the reason it came up for a vote again. I am sorry if he is too pragmatic for you. Aug 7, 2008 - barr absolutely did advocate government intervention in behalf of fannie and freddie. how can you deny it? the interview in which he HIMSELF stated so, is here on youtube. search: barr bailout fannie freddie. IN HIS OWN WORDS: offer a "line of credit" and "long-term congressional action". even now he wants to take money out of YOUR pocket and give it to corporations. if elected, he WILL get it from you. even now he is pro-taxation, which is (regardless of method of collection) is anti-freedom.

Aug 7, 2008 - and as for the patriot act; he also voted to fund the dept. of homeland stupidity, which many consider to be an even more dangerous threat to our liberties. to me, this absolutely confirms that barr is of the mentality that government needs more power to enforce the patriot act and related government schemes of domestic spying and surveillance. it fits the pattern of barr's entire career in government. but i guess he really didn't mean to do that either,because, after all, he said he is sorry.

Aug 8, 2008 - pastor baldwin has said again and again; it is none of the government's business what religion you are, or how you worship, or if you even worship at all. he is very critical of, and has denounced, the "religious right". this january, he wrote an article titled "churches should stay out of government". what more you can ask? don't assume the worst, just because he is a christian. nobody is more determinted than he is to stop the NWO, and to make sure you and i never have to pay taxes again.
