Userbars, you see them all over the place, on forums, myspace profiles, and blogs. Ever wish you could make one? Well we will show you how! For those who don't know what Userbars are, here is an example: To make a userbar you will need a program and a file: You will need to use a program called "The Gimp", you can download it here (its free): http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gimp-win/gimp-2.4.6-i686-setup.exe Next you will need a image pattern you can get it here: http://xzaio.awardspace.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/scanlines.pat Now you need to install Gimp. After you have installed Gimp you need to place the scanlines file in a special folder, It will tell you where in the video. But I am going to tell you here too, first open My Computer, than at the top in the top where is says My Computer (the address bar where you type a website), delete the My Computer text and replace it with: C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\patterns.
