In between live reporting on the race, Janina Nearn jumps into a 2-seater Red Bull Air Race plane (Extra 300L, 300 horsepower, 400 kph top speed) together with Sergio Pla. Sergio is an aerobatics-pro and knows how to fly decent loops and turns. Apparently Janina is not only a good looking TV journalist, but also tough! She got to pull her own maneuvers and thoroughly enjoyed the loops and Gs, whereas many others feel sick just as a passenger in Sergio's plane (watch video response: Indy Car driver Milka Duno in San Diego). Janina´s even worried that it´s gonna be addictive. Well Janina, why don't you practice and become the first female Red Bull Air Race pilot? :)
