Mar 6, 2008 - That "six arm thing" is Shiva, a god...Shiva was just supposed to be an example of a god. Knowledge is good for you and google is your friend!

Apr 15, 2008 - it's about time...yes, they were oppressed at first, but jesus, i think, unfortunately, they've had their "revenge". I don't know if you caught any references to Shiva (six arms?). God is the same in all (monotheistic)religions, they just have different interpretations of god.

Apr 15, 2008 - One long bigoted rant against religion by a hate-filled shallow athiest moron.

May 21, 2008 - You've hardened your heart to anything truly good. Sucks for you.

May 26, 2008 - I don't think this poem is anti-God, and even if you are a person that does, you must agree it's certainly not hate-filled. It's a genuine questioning of the different ways people in our society view God and one man's attempt to reconcile all those different viewpoints. I think Jeffery McDaniel is a brilliant poet.

Jun 2, 2008 - This reading isn't about whether god exists. It's about how god is a convenience item for people. About how invoking god is used to further one's own goals. The reason the reader doesn't care if god exists is because, in the end, it doesn't matter--your prayers and petitions get answered or not and you'll think it's his action or not. Doesn't matter.

Jun 24, 2008 - I loved it and like people said before it isnt anti-god or religion its just a questioning. I love the line "open my wrists like a window thats been painted shut" .

Jun 26, 2008 - To all of you people who are saying this is anti-religious read a book and learn about how your own religion was changed to mask many things. Beautiful animation and poem, I loved the meaning and visuals.

Sep 20, 2008 - For all of you who are saying this is anti-religious, he has a right to his own opinion. If you actually read about your religion then you would be accepting of his veiws even though they arent the same as yours. Why not find out about other religions for a change? stop bitching about stuff you dont know about. This is a very good poem, I must agree with most of it.
