i didnt make this bungie did and heres some info on the upcoming updates from microsoft and bungie.... KEEP IT CLEAN.... •Auto Update 2/Title Update 2: -Title Update 2, when downloaded this Tuesday, has 10 (250G) of the 30 (750G total) confirmed new achievements. The TU2 achievements total 250g. Title Update 2 is NOT being released alongside the Mythic Map Pack, which contains 500G of achievements. •When is the Mythic Map Pack being released? -Expect this to be released by the end of November. Remember, the six maps are completed and have been for a while now. -Bungie always releases their DLC map packs exactly three weeks after all maps in it are revealed. October 21st or 28th are the highest possible release dates so far. •How much will the Mythic Map Pack cost? -Based off the pricing for previous map packs, it should cost 1600 Microsoft points in the marketplace. -A Triple Pack may come out with the Heroic, Legendary, and Mythic map packs, and both Title Updates on a disc form for $30-$40 when the Mythic Maps come out for those without XBL. •Will there be a campaign extension in the Mythic Map Pack? -No, there will not be. Do not expect one of these any time this year, if at all. •What is with the new skull achievements? HUH?!? -The skulls are hidden IN the stated multi-player maps this time. Whether they are only visible/claimable in Matchmaking or not is unknown so far. •Are there going to be new rewards for the achievements? -Bungie has stated that there will be no new armor for Halo 3, so no For the most part at least. Completing all of the Vidmaster achievements is said to give an unnamed reward. •Do we keep our Katana and security permutations? -If you currently have them, you will. You can unlock the Katana and Security permutations by reaching 1000GS or more, even with the new achievements. ————————Maps———————— Mythic Map Pack confirmed maps (with SPECULATION on the maps theme, origin, and size): •Assembly -Covenant-themed map, previously known as Purple Reign, medium sized -Skull crest: Lekgolo (orange hunter/scarab worms), referring to the scarab assembly line above the map. •Citadel -Covenant-themed map, Possible Ascension re-make -Skull crest: Possibly a Forerunner glyph(?) which would indicate that the map is forerunner-themed •Heretic -Covenant-themed map, Possibly Heretic is the Mausoleum of the Arbiter from Gravemind (BK Burger Boys theory) -Skull crest: The Mark Of Shame symbol (which was branded onto the Arbiters chest in Halo 2) •Orbital -Human-themed map, previously known as Moonbase Alpha/Spacecamp. -ICH MAG TORTE noted that It could be a docking station for the space elevators of a ship. In the book contact harvest they call the space elevators docking station an Orbital. -Skull crest: A fan or possibly a space station (eagle eye view) [u]•Longshore -Human or forerunner-themed, large, possible spiritual successor to Relic from Halo 2, Index pointed out that it could be Death Island from Halo:CE, or it could very well could be the Community Concept map conceived a few months ago -Belief is increasing that it could be a Headlong re-make, due to some information told to us several months ago. -Skull crest: A fish (confirmed by padolski) •Sandbox -Brute-themed map, could be the super-Forgeable map seen in the Bungie EDGE acceptance speech video -Skull crest: Forge monitor
