Aug 19, 2008 - One of the most moving videos I've seen in a long time. I don't know that I would let gimmeabreakman be a response to it, that dampers it just a little. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day.

Aug 21, 2008 - And have you noticed that rarely, and I mean rarely, do people on the subway ever contribute to these people who have no money? I find people way to preoccupied with their cell phones on the train. I've seen so many people refusing to give up their seats for pregnant women, old people, etc. I kind of find it hard to believe that the man's bowl was overflowing with change, but it would be nice if that were the case. People don't care about each other here like they do in the west.
qiranger Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - I was really surprised by the actions. Pleased by it.

Aug 22, 2008 - hmm. usually in korea.. its almost like law to give seats to old ppl and pregnant women.. iono what subway u've been to.. unless it was like outside of korea..if u give seats to elderly u get bashed.. i agree with the whole cellphone thing.. ppl become almost robotic in subways
raiseplus Says:
Aug 22, 2008 - i meant if u dont give away seats.. sry.

Aug 22, 2008 - I saw a man with one leg and a crutch walking through the subway car this evening. He was looking for a place to sit. Not ONE single person gave up their seat. Not ONE. That says something about rush hour transit here. I was standing. Otherwise, I would have given him my seat. Then there are the people with no disabilities at all who go to the seated foreigner out of all the people in the car, and expect them to give up their seat.
jacob7207 Says:
Aug 22, 2008 - Back off lady this is my seat. So what if I'm not from Korea. I have been standing all day. I pay to ride the subway just as much as you. Go sit somewhere else.
raiseplus Says:
Aug 24, 2008 - well. guess u dont seem to understand and accept to adapt to different cultures.. when in rome.~

Sep 6, 2008 - I like y deed and your video, very much! However small your act was it made a hugh effect.I wish people in general could think of this and stop hiding their eyes. There is so much to learn just by giving, and the giving could just be a nice word or a smile sometimes. I hope I will see something simmilar once. Thanks and cheers.
