The French philosopher Jean Jacques said "The rich form governments to steal from the poor." This video explains how the rich use the tax system to steal our money and use it to benefit the rich. While ordinary folks live under capitalism, the rich enjoy the benefits of state socialism. The new $700 billion welfare program is designed for bankers, hedge fund thieves and wealthy stockholders. Homeowners who are being foreclosed are told about the virtues of capitalism. The $3 trillion war in Iraq is socialist program designed to benefit the rich stockholders of oil companies while ordinary Americans pay the tab. When ordinary Americans seek health care for children, they are told they are evil socialists. And so it goes. (more)

Oct 8, 2008 - "Every country in the world has universal health care in one sort or another." Then, you go on to say that Giuliani suggested this was a toward socialism. How did Giuliani mis-characterize this? How is it not socialist? You make many presuppositions - namely, that healthcare is a right. "I am, therefore the government should pay for my healthcare."

Oct 8, 2008 - "...$250,000. That's what it costs to put them through." Yeah, I'd like to know where you get your numbers. Public universities are, on average, $12,796 a year, and that INCLUDES tuition, room and board, and a meal plan. 250 grand, huh? Sounds a bit off.

Oct 9, 2008 - What is your point? Are you opposed to universal health care? Rather, are you in favor of 65 million Americans being without health care? Don't you consider health care a right? If not, why not? Some countries have universal health care and the government is not involved, Germany for example. Do you consider Medicare socialism?
radiohogan Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - While one can find public universities for $10-12,000 tuition, room, board, books & transportation are additional. In any case, I was referring to the private colleges & universities the Power Elite send their meritocracy to.

Oct 9, 2008 - I have class right now, but I will respond tonight on this. Don't think I'm ignoring you, my friend. Just so you know, I am not responding to your videos to be some creeper. Haha. I just seem to have a profoundly different worldview than you, and I think it worthy to pursue a healthy discussion of the issues that plague us.
radiohogan Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - There is no rush. America will soon be bankrupt and we will all have more time for conversation.
radiohogan Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - Part I - You are correct. My weltanschauung (world view) is different from your and the cultural parent. You have a bourgeois perspective, while mine is working class. One sees the difference throughout history: Vichy France, the Spanish Civil War, etc. I make the case the middle class hates the poor, working class and lower middle class in my video "Why the Middle Class Hates the Poor." It is based on "The Protestant Work Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism" by Max Weber.
radiohogan Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - Part II - The middle class also hates the poor for the same psychological reason whites hate people of color. It gives the middle class the psychic benefit of superiority. The shame of it is the poor, working class and lower middle class don't know they are under attack and in the middle of a class war. Therefore, they are unable to defend themselves.
radiohogan Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - Part III - According to the French Enlightenment philosopher Jean Jacques Rousseau the rich form governments to steal from the poor. This is done mainly through the tax system and various forms of welfare for the rich. All this is well documented by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist (NY Times) and author David Kay Johnson. He has written several books on how the rich transfer wealth from the poor to themselves.
radiohogan Says:
Oct 9, 2008 - Part IV - The rich and the middle class root for the rich and the Poor and working class have been trained to also root for the rich. WE are according to MIT Professor Noam Chomsky the most propagandized country to have ever existed (see "Manufacturing Consent" 1989 Pantheon Press); more so then the German people under Hitler or the Russian people under Stalin. Americans are sheep who will believe anything the G-men tell them. We have different views because I do not root for the rich.

Oct 14, 2008 - Good video, informative points the situation we are in now was predicted years ago by left wing. European and British economists even pro free market capitalists were warning. That the bubble would birst and it has poor, poorly educated people there job is to shop and then die in wars.

Oct 5, 2008 - Thank's radiohogan. The British Liberal government laid the foundations of contemporary social services, (now eroded). The concerns were "national efficiency" and the need to provide an infrastructure of public services. Moreover,1905 Unemployed Workmen Act: labour exchanges. 1907 School Medical Service. 1908 Old Age Pensions. 1909 Labour exchanges. 1911 National Insurance Act: this covered health and unemployment. Why? Because an "efficient" market could not operate with a sick workforce.
