~Simple Story~ ~Outside the Hospital~ Eliza: How you feeling? Maddi: Well, the shot only hurts if you touch it. -She touches it- Ow! You see? Eliza: Um, ya that's nice. Maddi: Well how you feeling? I mean you got some pretty big cuts. Eliza: It's nothing. I can't even feel them anymore. -Maddilyn isn't paying attention to Eliza instead she is looking at a hobo across the street. Typical Maddi. Eliza: Maddi, Maddi, hey idiot! Maddi: Oh, um what. Eliza: Well idiot, what are you looking at? Maddi: Don't call me that! Eliza: Well it is the only thing you answer to! Maddi: Well anyways, look at that guy across the street. -Eliza looks over at the hobo- Eliza: Maddi, you shouldn't stare. It is rude. Especialy to hobo's. I think. Maddi: No, look at what he has in his hand. -Eliza looks at the hobo's hand. She has to squint because it is all the way on the other side of the road.- Eliza: Oh my god! -Maddi nods- Eliza: He has a knife! Maddi: Keep it down! I mean like you just said he has a knife! Eliza: Well maybe it isn't for the reason we think it is. Maybe it is something else. Like for protection and stuff. Maddi: I think we should call the cops. -Maddi pulls out her phone and starts dialing- Eliza: They're right over there blocking off the road while our car gets totalled. Maddi: Oh, well then lets go tell them! Eliza: No, no, no, I think we have had enough drama for the day. Maybe we should get some rest. Maddi: Well how are we gonna get back? It is like an hour long drive. Eliza: Well I could call my mom. Maddi: Ok, good idea. -Eliza calls her mom and then they get back to Maddi's house- E'sMom: Wow, you girls have had an unlucky day. Go get some rest and then you can do more in the morning. -They both go to bed at Maddi's house and get up in the morning to eat breakfast- Eliza: Do you have any leftover Chinese food? Maddi: Um I don't, I know! Let's go to a fortune teller! I always see them in movies! I've always wanted to go! I think there is one right on the beach! Hopefully it is still there. I saw it like a year ago so it is probably still not there but we are checking anyways. ~On the Beach~ Maddi: There it is! I see! I see it! Eliza: Where? I don't see it anywhere! Maddi: Right here! -Maddi points to a spot in the sand- Eliza: Ya, now I see it. It is sand. Or is it buried under the sand?-Eliza said sarcasticly. Maddi: You know this is my favorite spot to rest on the beach! -As you can see, Maddi isn't that bright- Eliza: Come on lets keep moving. -Ten minutes later- Maddi: Look over there! What does Maddilyn see? Is it her second favorite spot to rest? Is it the fortune teller? Find out next time in Simple Story the series.
