Oct 13, 2008 - It is a civil and ethical matter. She feels that there was no conflict of interest in this and other see it for what it is. Remember that she wants to extend the powers of the VP even more than Cheney did. She thinks the VP should have legislative powers beyond what the Constitution states. I wouldn't trust her.

Oct 13, 2008 - The report found that Palin "abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act." Palin allowed Todd Palin and others to pressure various officials improperly over a period of several months, which violated the Ethics Act. So far there has been no indication that Sarah Palin has any regrets for "violating the public trust."

Oct 13, 2008 - Sarah Palin has shown the ethics of Dick Cheney, the honesty of Karl Rove and the intelligence of Dan Quayle. Thank you, John McCain, for showing us the quality of appointments you will make if elected President. This country - and all it SHOULD stand for - is in for another rough ride under a McCain/Palin administration.

Oct 13, 2008 - Amazing. Who does she think we are? Partisan? There were more Republicans than Democrats among the legislators who produced that report. No legal wrongdoing? The report stated that Palin violated an act governing the Alaskan governor's conduct. In short, the report states, the law was violated.
