CHEN: This mother saw the execution of her son by Serbian paramilitary forces on video. Now she watches Radovan Karadzic's first appearance before The Hague's war crime tribunal. STORY: Imagine Nura Alispahic's shock as she saw her teenage son Azmir executed along with five others. The video showed the notorious Serb Scorpions paramilitary unit forcing six men out of a truck and brutally executing them in a field in 1995. All she could say at the time was: [Nura Alispahic, Victim's Mother]: "My son, they killed you." Watching television in Tuzla yesterday Alispahic saw the former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic appear in front of a U.N. war crimes judge. [Nura Alispahic, Victim's Mother]: "I'm glad. I'm glad to see him in court, but my children are gone, there's no youths, we are left alone. If only Mladic and the other one are arrested. I'm glad that he's there in The Hague, but my pain remains the same, it will never stop, I will die and it won't stop." The man who led a breakaway Serb Republic during the Bosnian War faces two charges of genocide over the 43-month siege of Sarajevo and the 1995 massacre of some 8,000 Muslims at Srebrenica, the worst atrocity in Europe since World War Two.
