The new version of the resonant engine. It really is a free cylinder engine, but let's not make things more complicated than they are already... :) I have measured 59 Hz, but have to verify that. The stroke at "normal running" is around 15 mm, one other version managed around 30 mm stroke. Then the glass of the syringe broke. :( The hot end is around 15 mm length, 8.7 mm diameter. The orifice is 2 mm diameter, length 10 mm. It runs better with diameter of 3.2 mm. Next thing to do is find a way to keep the piston in place, in the middle of the cold end. I have a coil here to hook up, and hope to do soon. It will be attached to the cylinder, so this will be a moving coil design. I am not expecting much power, the engine does not run horizontally.
