Selena: [lets go of him] [walks in the backyard and sees Jonathon playing in the wet grass] JONATHON JASON JONAS YOU GET HERE THIS INSTANT MISTER!! Nick: did she just say jonas? Jonathon: [walks up to her] yes mommy? Nick: [walks out] MOMMY? SO WHERE YOU GOING TO TEL— Jonathon: [starts crying] mommy hes scaring me. Selena: its okay daddy didnt mean to scare you. Nick: daddy?? [walks up to Jonathon] Jonathon: [hides behind selena] mommy Im scared I want to go back to uncle joe. [runs inside] Selena: nice job nick. You scared your own kid away. AT SELENAS NEW HOUSE Selena: [opens the front door] welcome to our house nick Jonathon: mommy I want to go up to my room Selena: but Jonathon theres nothing in there. How do you know which room is yours? Jonathon: [shrugs his shoulders] daddy can you help me carry my box up to my room? Nick: of course. [picks up jonathons box] so which way is your room? Jonathon: ask mommy Nick: mommy wheres Jonathons room? Selena: upstairs 2nd door on the left Jonathon: [running upstairs] YAYAYAYAY. COME ON DADDY Nick: coming. [to selena] call me when you need help with those boxes Selena: dont worry if I can take care of Jonathon by myself then Im pretty sure I can carry these boxes too. [went in to grab a box and followed nick upstairs to her room] IN JONATHONS NEW ROOM Jonathon: [opens his door] woah this is huge. Nick: yea it is. [puts the box down] Im going to check on mommy. [walks out of the door and into selenas door] hey baby Selena: [taking out clothes from the boxes] ooh hey. So how do you like the house? Nick: its okay. So when were you going to tell me you were coming home? [walking towards selena] Selena: well I was going to surprise you. Nick: well I wouldve totally liked it if you told me before. [his phone rings] hello? FC [Football coach]: hey nick Nick: hey Steve whats up? Steve: we want you to come back to texas to get ready for the NFL games. Nick: is there anyway I can go next week? Steve: is there anyway that you can go within this week? Nick: my fiancé just came back from paris and I havent seen her or my son in 4 years Steve: then take them with you Nick: Ill ask and Ill call you back as soon as I get a confirmation Steve: talk to you later. Bye [they both hang up] Selena: who was that? Nick: its my football coach Selena: you still play football? Nick: actually I play NFL football for the cowboys Selena; and they want you to go back and play? Nick: yea and I told him that my fiancé was home with my kid and he asked if you wanted to come. Selena: ask Jonathon. If its okay with him then Im in. Nick: JONATHON CAN YOU COME HERE FOR A SECOND? Jonathon: [runs into the room] yes daddy? Nick: how would you like it if our whole family went to watch me play football Jonathon: sure. But I have a question about football Nick: whats up? Jonathon: doesnt it hurt when someone kicks you? Nick: [confused] what? [to selena] what is he talking about? Selena: Jonathon I think daddys talking about polo. Here football is polo and soccer is football Jonathon: Im confused Nick: me too Selena: [laughs] daddy plays polo but here its called football and football in france is soccer. Nick: ohh I get it Jonathon: me too. And sure Ill go.
