Marketers Swamp Trademark Office with "Green" Filings

NEW YORK (YouTube.com/AdAge) -- In a frenzy of activity at the Trademark Office over the last year, a stampede of marketers have registered a record number of new "green" brand names. According to a study of the latest filing trends by the lawfirm Dechert, more than 1,200 filings have included the term "green." Thousands of others have included "eco" or "clean."
